I honestly think that you should have given us more warning about these last projects, because right now I feel like there is no way I am going to finish them in time. There’s too much to do AND I have to get down and actually write my project, which is taking longer than I expected. These last couple of weeks are going to be very stressful because of all the deadlines coming up in all my classes. But as for the projects themselves, if I have more time I’ll be able to do them better. I honestly don’t think I can get it done by noon but I am going to try my best.
I’m also worried about the 10 minute presentation because I feel that my project will be “boring” to those listening because my project isn’t multimedia focused. It’s a paper. And I could stand up there and read my paper but I feel that would be boring too so I don’t know what I’m going to do. I feel it is critical to finish my paper before the 11th but with WA5 due, I don’t know how I’m going to do that. Just my honest opinion.
Give the portfolio your best shot. It’s quite a push, I know. Your final paper is actually not due until 12/17, but I can see why you want to shoot for the 12/11 date. Good plan.
I’m looking for a draft of WA5. As close to ready as you can get it. There will be time to rework it following feedback.
The idea here is that you will get the portfolio and annotated bib out of the way this week, leaving next week to focus on getting the paper written and a plan for presenting that work at the Celebration of Student Writing. I’ll look at a draft anytime, and I welcome the opportunity to visit with you face-to-face about any or all of this. Just shoot me an email and we’ll set up a time.
