After my talk with you today I feel a little better about my research project, and once I get my interviews over with this week I think I’ll be set to start writing. It’s been really fun – and I kind of wish I had more opportunities to interview more people because it really is interesting hearing stories and stuff, seeing how it all connects. I’ve come up with a rough outline for my project, and now I just need to work on chiseling it down to do-able, bite-size pieces. I also need to skim through my research journals to pick up ideas that I’ve forgotten about, because sometimes I feel like I’m missing something to be honest. But overall, I think I’ve got a lot of information to write this ethnography on. I’m a little confused about the paper you handed out today? Are we supposed to invite them to both events (and are we presenting at both events?). Also… December 11 seems really close by. That’s a little nerve wracking. I mean I knew it was coming, it just scared me to see that! Haha.
